Does anyone in Australia or New Zealand know this young girl?

Please watch the video. We are trying to figure out who she is and help her. Also, her video speaks volumes to victims of stolen horses. It really reaches out to them. Debi Metcalfe found it and she is trying to locate the young lady.

Carla. Horse has been gone for quite a while now, most likely it took up with a brumby herd and went bush. Not too many horses get nicked here, too far from any saleyards or abattoirs. Sometimes they will send up a truck and pick up people's "unwanteds" and send them south, but stealing a horse to sell to them is highly unlikely. You'd be transporting it a good 200-300 km to even get it on the truck, and then they'd only give you a couple of hundred for it, especially a little fella like Ted.
Horse isn't valuable - it's a brumby - so there is no incentive to steal and sell down south. Lots of brumbies at Almaden, may have strayed and taken up with a herd, or killed by the stallion. Pig hunters may have got him, they hunt brumbies around there from time to time, use them to bait pig traps. He might have wandered to a station and taken up with the stock horses too.
Plenty of things may have happened here, but it is very very unlikely he was stolen. Most likely he has gotten out and taken off. Very hard to curb the brumby wander. If he's with a herd, it's likely he'll be spotted at some point. It isn't likely that he is alive though, sad to say. He's been gone for a very long time now. |

Thank you. The video speaks volumes with her facial expressions. It really made the core members who are some of the main volunteers step back and just cry because they had been victims of horse thief. At least we can have more of an understanding by what you have posted and again thank you! _________________ A Good Apple Pie. II Corinthians 4:16-18 |
