Reading some articles/forums about Karmic Debt. It is noted that birth marks can be an indication of an injury in that location in a past life.
There are also notes of what has happened to the soul in a last life may explain why we have some experiences that we do today. To progress the soul and balance our 'karma.'
We choose our life path before incarnating (karma has a big role in our upcoming life). Sometimes a soul may choose a life of hardship where others may choose an easy or simple life. All souls have free will; it is up to the individual to decide what they make of their life while here. Many souls will choose a tough life in order to spiritually advance faster. Even though a soul may have intentions to advance quickly, this does not always happen. It is how we respond in the moment which ultimately makes us who we are (service to self vs. service to others). Sometimes it takes individuals hundreds or even thousands of lives to conquer something as basic as jealousy, control, anger, etc...

you would love the book Journey of Souls by Michael Newton, and the follow up book to that, Destiny of Souls. You'd also love Messages from the Masters by Brian Weiss!

My husband and I have some very definite personality traits which cause 'issues' between us. Do you think that its an accident that we are together? Each one of us contributes to this 'problem' and it will take both of us learning and changing in order to overcome this problem. I think this is an example of karmic debt. Probably at some point in the past, we each had the position of the other. Now, we get to find out how that affected other people (now ourselves), and learn how to enhance that aspect of our being.
There is a part in one of those books I mentioned above, where this family member had been at odds with another family member their entire life. I think it was a father and son. When one had died, and was arriving into the 'life between lives,' he met the other one (the part of the family member that remains 'anchored' in the spiritual world). They 'exchanged' all their life experiences and viewpoints and in a moment, each one completely understood the other one and there was no need for apology or forgiveness. There was only understanding and deep love. _________________ A horse is NOT a large dog that thinks like a person. |

Really neat to read this. I didn't know 100% if Karma was real or not, but believed it was. I don't know if we have a Karmic debt when we leave this world but it makes a whole lot of sense. Esp in the story of the guy who could not, no matter what, stay out of trouble. When he had a PLR (past life regression) he found that he was a guard at a prison and he was very mean to the prisoners. Coming to terms with his past life really helped him out in his current. There is also mentioned of birth marks on the site Memories of the Soul (where the original Karmic Debt post comes from) mentioning that they can be where one's body was harmed in a past life. It makes me curious about mine and I wonder if I will have birth marks on my right foot when born into my next life as they can be from past traumas.
This site has really helped me and I feel so at home because of it. I know I was supposed to find it.
I experienced my first example of reincarnation at age 15. I don't know if I have experienced an Angel before or not, but it sure feels like I have. Spirit guides? Had my first experience with that the other day. Guided me right out of a very dangerous situation. The more I learn about this stuff, the more my life makes sense. How we choose our bodies/parents etc. I wouldn't say I've exactly had an easy life since birth, but I can definitely say I am learning the lessons I am supposed to |

its amazing the synchronicity. The other day I was driving down the road, thinking about the comfort that comes through from 'the other side,' just when we need it, and just at that moment, I looked over and was driving past one of those changing digital billboards in front of a church and it had just flashed to a picture of a (probably Jesus's) hand reaching out toward 'me.' LOL! _________________ A horse is NOT a large dog that thinks like a person. |
