As winter approaches, this question always comes up. I thought I'd post the link to this article by Dr. Kellon. So many of us 'love our horses to death' literally. And, I've been as guilty of that in the past as anyone else. I am pretty religious about weighing hay and avoiding unneeded supplements anymore. And, I've changed from any type of cookie to hay pellets for treats.
