Has anyone seen the training dvd's that she has out? She trained under pat and Phillip. Just wondering if she has followed closely pat's way of doing things and if her programs would be worth the investment. Anything new from her?

I watched one of her DVDs from Giddyup and really liked it. Can't remember the title but I do remember that I thought she knew what she was talkin' about. _________________ Nancy

thanks Nancy. I'm just wondering if she really adds anything to the old level 1 and 2 which I have. soon as we get moved to Ca. I plan to take my boy Tonka, thru those levels. Didn't know if she has a different way of relationship building with the horse. I really can't afford to spend more money on dvd's unless they would offer more.
I like the things she says on her website.

If you want a "alternate Parelli source" in DVDs, I would suggest Jonathan Field. He advances more information in a sane, easy to "get" way. He stays pretty much Parelli (if that is what you are looking for) then most of the others out there. He was a Parelli instructor for years and even worked with Ronnie Willis (under Pat's suggestion when Ronnie was @ LaCense.) He has a new DVD set out, only a couple years old. I find a lot of the Parelli stuff (especially lately with Linda Parelli) as dribbled out insanely, and JF puts it out there in a A,B.C way you would like. I have his set.
Of course, Buck Brannaman is my choice now, along with the closest to Ray Hunt/Dorrance disciplines like Martin Black. As you well know Pat counts those as his choices too. But, back to to Jonathan Field,- he is the choice as close to pure Parelli in a better, easy to understand and easier to advance in a A,BC method, then Parelli. There is a lot of riding in JFs DVDs and he even gets to some decent advanced work. Of course this is my personal observation,,, It is my idea all the game and ground stuff should advance to actual riding, and I personally see Parelli sometimes going around in circles for those many who can't ride because of issues Parelli should address. |

I do like the Parelli program. the program has been invaluable for me and my horses. I think the problem is after all these years I'm just tired of listening to both Pat and Linda . Looking for a fresh voice and way of saying things! ha _________________ If you can't go naturally, don't go at all!!

I have most of Wrangler Jayne's stuff and I think it is very good for a keen student just just starting out. She explains things well and goes slowly and works a lot from the horse's point of view.
But I haven't seen Jonathan Field's stuff to be able to compare. _________________ Author of
