Another SC refugee...

Hey guys....So this is where everybody has been!

Well for those of you who dont know much about me...
I have had horses for 17 years or so and I used to show pleasure and had gotten into a bit of reining before chucking it all and decided to do Parelli about 4 years ago. Mainly I started Parelli because I was burned out and just wanted to have some fun. In that 4 years it has been hit and miss  (due to health and lameness) with my Levels horse Trooper. He had a small window of soundness last year just long enough to get my L2 taped and then he fractured his coffin bone. And I hope to get going on him this year again. And hey, now that the levels have changed, I might be able to get to level 5 this summer!  :D  :D  :D

Anyways, my other horse is Odeipus and he is my challenging boy. I bought him because I have always had the dream of doing dressage. And as far as I knew, you bought a draft cross for that. Ahhh live and learn. But anyways, I like him too much to sell him at this point and he has taught me alot about LBI's.  I was just getting him far enough along in the riding this last summer to start on some Karen Rohlf but I had to take a 5 month hiatus (s?) due to really bad morning sickness. But I am back to riding now and feel like I am starting at square one with him again.

So I still love the Parelli program but have the same qualms about it that everybody else has. At this point I am a savvy club (The lowly standard level) member just because its nice to have a dvd in the mail every month.

So anyways thats me...so happy to be here!

Oh and my name is Jody. I am 28 and I live in Northern Cal with my hubby and two dogs.

YAY!!

I've been trying to remember your forum ID for 2 days now so that I could invite you.  All I could remember was your youtube ID... which wasn't helping!

Glad to see you've made it.  =)

Welcome, Jody! I'm sticking with the SC to for the same reason as you, the media. They can say goodbye to my contribution on the forums though, I'm cool-aid intolerant.

Now I've got somewhere else to go to talk to my amigos without fear of getting moderated, its all good!
