Anybody else in AR?

Hi everybody.  My name is Dawn and my horse, a 10 y/o TB mare, is Lady.  We recently moved here (about 20 miles from Little Rock) from AZ (before that we were in OK, where I bought Lady).  I've had her almost 3.5 years and she has taught me SO much!

When I got her she hadn't been ridden in over a year (bred and turned out until the foal was weaned) but she only had about 6 months training in her life - not a great match for somebody who hasn't had a horse in over 20 years.

Shortly after we moved here Lady went seriously lame with WLD and then sliced her leg open so she was laid up for almost 4 months - that's when we started "doing Parelli."  OMG, the change in our relationship was HUGE and things just keep getting better!

Looking forward to "meeting" everybody here.

Welcome to our little corner of the Internet.  I hope Lady heals up and you're soon enjoying her totally.
