Anybody want to practice body scanning?

Scout's got something going on.  He's going to see the vet, but I would also like his take.  I am waiting to hear back from my friends to see if I can get a trailer ride so we can go to Pioneer or UC Davis, otherwise I will use a local vet.  There are pics of him (not new) in Come Ride With Me sub-topic Introducing Chippewa Scout.  The pics are on the first 2 pages.

The minute I read this, my hand got hot and started sweating...just one.  Left hand.  Ok, I'm assuming you don't do reiki, but that doesn't mean  you can't do a quick scan yourself.  Keep your mind and your intent clear, ask for help, visualize a white light coming from your hands and surrounding your horse  with healing, white light.  It sometimes helps to close your eyes.  When you get to the "problem area", you'll feel heat.  Your hands might start to sweat and feel very hot.  Once you get there, stay there and visualze healing.  Your intent is healing.
When we get a boo boo, the first thing we do is put our hand on it and rub, right?  That first instinct to touch and rub is right on.  I hope everything checks out ok for your guy.
Maybe shoot Mandy's Marty a pm?

I'd like to help Scout.

However, my experience has been that, unless I can view a very recent image of the horse, I will probably not receive current information from that horse. What I do seem to receive is specific information relating to the condition of the horse in the moment the photo was taken. I suspect that what I am 'reading' is the specific energy signature contained in that specific image. If I were to read those images in Introducing Chippewa Scout, I am going to pick up information regarding his condition when those photos were taken.

If I had already established an energetic connection with Scout in some way--and we therefore shared a relationship--then it's possible that I can look at an old photo of him and connect with his current energy rather than his latent energy signature.

I know that I can accurately 'read' the condition of a horse that I have never met 'in person', by viewing a very recent photo. And I know that I can communicate with that horse non-locally if that horse is willing . I then simply ask that horse specific questions in order to identify the various issues troubling him/her and then dial down to the specific primary issue that is the primary cause of what are typically the other compensatory issues.

And I know that it is possible for me to help that horse by channeling energy to that horse to use in whatever way that horse needs to use it in order to resolve its issue, whether physical, emotional, or energetic. I know this because I have had this experience with different horses, documented by the horse's owner. It's not magic. As Deb mentions, it is a form and expression of Reiki.

So take a clear photo of Scout today. I prefer at least one photo of his head and shoulders showing his eye(s). It also helps to have photos showing his stance and a side view of his whole body.

I haven't looked at the old photos of Scout. I didn't want to be identifying issues that he had then and may not have today.

Thank you both.  I will get new pics of Scout tomorrow (Tuesday) night.  I was just there tonight and didn't see the messages before I went out - I am not supposed to use my work computer for personal and they do check.

OK, I got some pics tonight.  There wasn't anybody there to help me and of course Scout was Scout and didn't see the purpose in posing.  If you need better pics, I can try again on the weekend when there will be someone to help me.

That hay looks yummy!
..... Oh.... and Scout is beautiful too!

Thank you.  I think he is a very handsome boy.

Marty, think you could post here?  Think it's safe and you won't get roasted for giving out "vet advice".  Everyone seems to leave us alone that would go there.  I'd like to hear your opinion.
jackspark

Agreement here Marty; don't think anyone on this thread would doubt your insight!

Me three! Can't wait to hear what Marty has to say!

Make that 4.

Any feedback?

Nope.  For some reason not.  But that's OK too.  We have an appointment at Pioneer in just over 2 weeks.  A friend from my old barn has an appointment the same day with a different doc, so we coordinated our appointment times and she is picking me up on the way.

I have had several people telling me that Scout is sad/grieving, so now he is on a Rescue Remedy trial.  Have also had 3 people tell me that he has tummy troubles, so I am looking into ulcers and slippery elm.  His latest troubles started after seriously banging himself going into his stall and also right after his beloved D went away.

Just got an e-mail.  April Battles is going to come work on Scout next weekend!!! - Sunday to be exact.  I will post all about it.  April was Marty's mentor.

We have been doing the barnyard cruise every day to get out of the arena, all 5 minutes of it, and today we did the mini trail, all 5 minutes of it too.  Unfortunately that's the only "trail" access we have.  Today we also did poles.  I did a day of trick training last week, another trick training day tomorrow.

April came Friday night rather than Sunday, as her Friday people needed to change to Sunday.  So there I was out at the barn in my work clothes - a skirt and pantihose with my riding tennies.  Even cleaned Scout's stall while I was waiting.

There was some pull back trauma and some issues from his gelding, but mostly it was saddle trauma.  April was sure it was my saddle, but checked my saddle and pad and they were good.  However, she went into the tack room with me and looked at all the saddles there and told me not to let anyone ride Scout in anything but my saddle or a bareback pad.  I knew the trainers weren't good at saddle fitting, I didn't realize how much damage it had done to Scout.  Our homework is lots of front leg crossovers and tail pulls.

I put Scout on line today and he looked wonderful.  Took off the line and let him go.  He had a great time and looked wonderful.  Lots of rounding up and plenty of happy bucks.  Ears forward.  Bright eyes.  Couldn't ride because I pulled something in my groin Thursday night
