Anyone have a Bar-Bar-A waterer???

I had a Miraco waterer which I was pleased with, in Iowa. The downfall was that it would get a thick buildup of algae in the summer.

I like the fact that the Bar-Bar-A drains after each drink. My concern is that is appears as though the horses might take in air while drinking from it and this makes me wonder if colic is more likely....

I am hoping to hear from a vet, maybe, or someone who has used this drinker with multiple horses without problem.

Thanks for any information...good or bad.

We have had one in our pasture serving three horses for three years. It is dependable and requires little maintenance which is easy to perform. The customer support is superb, the parts are cheap if you need them and it requires no electricity. We love ours.

I finally decided to go ahead and order the HorseDrinker.

Thanks, I think that I will be happy to have it....no algae!!
