Are we allowed to say Merry Christmas yet? (if not, hello!)

Hi all,

I hope you are all doing well! I'm happy to have found this forum - it seems very active and has lots of great content. I am looking forward to getting to know you all as the weather starts keeping me away from my horses and in the office more and more.

I am a mum and an entrepreneur, and between a 16-month-old very active little boy and two horsey businesses, I keep pretty busy. I co-own a training and horse sales business, where we use a variety of classical and progressive methods to put a solid foundation on our horses.

I have been involved in Parelli and Sally Swift's Centered Riding, and recently had the opportunity to ride with Jack Brainard and work on Cowboy Dressage. I am passionate about natural horsemanship and like to keep an open mind, using an mix of different philosophies and changing things up when I learn new ideas. Right now, we have eight horses, which includes five sale horses and three 'keepers'. We focus on buying horses with great functional conformation and fantastic temperaments, which consequently means that we end up with everything from ponies to warmbloods to Tennessee Walking Horses to Andalusian/Arabs.

My other business is a partnership with my sister - an online classified site called Super Natural Horses that connects naturally trained horses with naturally trained riders. It has been really neat getting it up and running, meeting all sorts of people with great philosophies and making connections. Our site supports the revolution in horsemanship (as Dr. Robert Miller puts it), and welcome people from all areas of natural horsemanship.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and I am looking forward to some great conversations!

Cheers,
Celena

Hi Celena, and welcome to the group!!

I am sure you will love it. Seems you share the a common belief to many here. "I am passionate about natural horsemanship and like to keep an open mind, using an mix of different philosophies and changing things up when I learn new ideas."

What a great idea to provide a place where Natural horses can try to get placed into natural homes.
