Wouldn't us it, but I will have it............

I have to laugh because the ad I see under Grant's post is:

"1 Tip for a Flat Belly"

I don't think I'd use that bridle or put their "bit" in my horse's mouth.  And I don't think I'd buy their book either.   Looks like punishment type "training" to me.   And WHY?  When you can do it all though love, language, and leadership.  Right?

Hay....... My belly is flat....... Horizontal is flat..... Vertical is plumb ...

Im actually in good shape.... After all  Round is a shape..... So there~~~~~~
cheerios

wait, they're charging $75 for that thing?

I think it's funny that there's not a single picture if a horse actually wearing one of them...
Mandy'sMarty

I would suspect that most of the horses wearing one would appear catatonic...or worse.

What part of the horse's head is that contraption supposed to work on????????

There is a young girl here in Aust who won an award for inventing a device made with pulleys for doing the girth up tighter!!    Recently she got a stint on our 'Inventors" show & another award for being so ingenious!!!

No-one questioned whether it was actually good for the horse!!

But....but... it's for MEAN horses. And right there in plain print it says it's a Professor Berry!!!! I mean what more credit do you want this must be right to use!!!????

This has got to be the exact flip side of what Tom Dorrance taught of feel!!!

Actually, I do see what's going on in the add. The seller is playing off of the old Prof. Berry Horsemanship Program. Remember when even Pat Parelli said he had those little books that were sold in Western Horseman adds as a Professor Berry's Horsemanship School Course? And, indeed Prof. Berry did use a "war bridle" contraption somewhat like this one (not that crude) In fact even back to the Dr. Rarey Horsemanship Program before Berry's (he was a follower of Rarey's) the same war bridle was in use.  So~ here we have a old idea~ and name~ with a new seller. How ingenious is that?!

Oh, and I had those little Prof Berry's book as a kid.
