Bobby Ingersoll"the legendary California Hackamore and Stock Horse" is a book that some may enjoy. Bobby Ingersoll is a legend in the cow horse world and his book gives some ideas of the training and history of both riders and horses in the working cow horse disciplines.

It's a coffee table type book and the price has recently been reduced at Amazon if you want to read some history of the Vaquaro traditions. It's not for everybody but with all the recent interest in bridle horses I suspect some folks might like it.
Has anybody else seen it or have any Bobby Ingersoll stories to share? Have you heard of "Kiger Cougar", a BLM horse that Bobby trained and won with in California?
Good stuff if you like a bit of history with your horsemanship journey.
