Book List pleaseToday I was in the book store & couldn't remember titles. I found, "the Taos of Equs" (sorry if I spelled it wrong). Has anyone read this & how is it? I remember someone mentioning "Talking with Horses" but in all the threads I lose the titles/authors
Give me your picks of good reads along the lines of our realm of discussion here...
Thanks!

"The Tao of Equus" by Linda Kohanov is one of three books by three very different authors...expressing the same message...that launched my journey into the deep waters.
The others were Mark Rashid's "Horses Never Lie: The Heart of Passive Leadership" and Wyatt Webb's "It's Not About the Horse".
Others I recommend:
Linda Kohanov's "Riding Between the Worlds"
Henry Blake's "Talking with Horses"
Susan Chernak McElroy's "Animals as Teachers & Healers"
Marta Williams' "Learning Their Language" and "Beyond Worlds, Talking with Animals and Nature"
Sandy Lagno's "Horses, From Our Side of the Fence"
Amelia Kinkade's "Straight from the Horse's Mouth" and "The Language of Miracles"
Ted Andrews' "Animal-Speak, The Spiritual & Magical Powers of Creatures Great & Small"

Interesting that you mention Indigo Children, Karen.
My mother and my naturopath both, separately, said to me that my daughter, Hannah is an Indigo Child. My naturopath said that Han sees right into people.
I've had many other people comment that there is something about my kids' eyes - that they have light coming from them.
I must say that in October, when I last saw Tony, I had an energy treatment from him. Afterwards, I was looking out the window and we were chatting. I said something about Hannah and how special she was. He said to me, "Mate, I've seen a lot of people in my life, and I've never seen anyone like her. You're right. She's special." I take that as something good, something to ponder, coming from Tony. I never thought to mention the Indigo or Crystal Child stuff.
I read about it a little but I might have to lay my hands on the book to find out more.
Gosh, this is neat. It's nice to be here.

Linda Kohanov has a third book that comes with cards. (forgot the name ) Horse cards that you pick from the pile. My trainer is very spiritual and she did a reading on me and a few friends at the Parelli Celebration last year. Each of us ended up in tears. The cards we each picked on our own were exactly what we were going thru at that moment. I had just let Jake go to a girl who was going to help me find him a new home. He ended up coming back home later but at the time I didn't know that. I thought he was gone. My cards had to do with sadness, despair, anguish, then healing and acceptance. There was an order that you read them in and the order perfectly coincided with the feelings we had. It was utterly amazing how well each of us were read. Once I have read her 2nd book I plan to get that third one and the cards.

I love all of Linda Kohanov's books and her set of cards is breathtaking. Had them out doing a reading the other night.

Richard Gordon's books about Quantum Touch. Even though I have Reiki, I read all the energy healing books I can find; there are many similarities and I often get ideas. Gee, this seems to be the same way I go with natural horsemanship LOL. And I just noticed it.
