CLinic in GAHello, I know this is not the place to post an event and I have expanded on this clinic in the events section, however, this is the biomechanics forum and the clinician we host teaches in the most biomechanically correct manner of any clinician I have ridden with.
Mark Russel teaches dressage from a lightness point of view. He has a book out Lessons in Lightness. CHeck out his website or I would be happy to talk about his teachings here.
Thanks

Niek,
I adore riding with Mark. He sees everything from the horse's point of view both emationally and biomechanically. The changes he has helped me make with my mare are phenomenal. I have feeling if it could be arranged he could be talked into coming to Europe, but we don't want him to get too busy to come to central GA 4 times a year:) He spent a long time in Portugal with Nuno Olivera learning from him. I have not yeat seen a horse/rider combo not improve save for 1 lady who just would not take instruction. I think she wanted to prove she already knew it all. All I could think was "It's not a competition, we are all here to learn something New" I could go on and on about Mark. I am so glad my "dressagy" friend talked this gaited horse riding girl into my first lesson with Mark.
