Credit Card's death

I know we've been talking about this on Facebook, but that really isn't fair to all our members who aren't members on FB.

The original story was about the theft of 5 horses from Southern Arkansas University.  Then they found four alive and the fifth was still missing.  Finally, his remains were found.  He was top notch roping horse.   Now we find out not only who did this to the five horses and but the manner of Credit Card's death.  This is a very sick, sick person.  Absolutely heartbreaking.

Carol,
I have read and seen so much of what was done until I am nauseated.  She needed help a long time ago.  Plus, mom and mom's boyfriend involved along with another guy.

It is sickening, but at least once he was gone....he did not have to stand tied to a tree for 2 1/2 weeks near him...after knowing that happening and starving and no water.

How do you explain someone like this mentality?  It reminds me of the Florida cases where owners went into the stalls to feed their horses only to find them butchered for the blackmarket.

Either way, it was cruel, cruel.

Some people need it done to them while the whole world watches on short circuit TV. Like in the old days with people in the stocks.

Also reminds me of the time I sent my big draft stallion, Nebula to be harness trained by a guy who did a lot of plowing & wagon work. After not hearing from him for a few weeks I called in only to find Nibby tied very short to the high top rail of a small yard where he had obviously spent many days if the bare spot under his feet & ring of manure around behind his back feet was any indication. The poor horse was hollow in flanks, dirty, desperate for a drink & very sad looking as though he had been broken in spirit.

When I couldn’t find the man, I went to the house & asked his wife who threw her arms up & just said “I don’t want to have anything to do with it”. I knew something was wrong. So I drove the hour’s drive straight home & returned with float & stole my horse back. I didn’t even ask for my money back. Just glad I got there in time to save my lovely stallion.

Carol, she's the Jeffrey Dommer of the horse world.  I am angry about this, but honestly, the girl is sick.  Mentally messed up.  I hope they see that and send her somewhere for help.  Every soul is worth saving.  She's 19 years old and the world hates her.  I can't imagine being her right now.  What an utterly hopeless place to be.  Her fate is so far worse than the horse she watched die.  Her pain will last a life time.

GOD will deal with her.I SO wish I could. The world hating her isn't even a drop in a bucket of what she deserves!

I hope her pain DOES last a lifetime!May be mean but she is still here to hate,That's more than I can say for poor credit card!

I use stocks and it helped me with Belle and her surgery.   This crime was four horses tied to trees to starve and the other mutilated  for no reason.  Sick!

My stocks help me with farrier, vet and  myself with draft horses that weigh much more than I could do alone.  And because, they are use to the stocks...with no abuse, they are well with it.  Please do not judge everyone who uses stocks due to the weight issue.

If I did not own these horses, they would have done sold at auction.  I saved the three Belgians that I own and my farrier and vet appreciate the time I have taken to train them to stay in the stocks.

When we first got our Clydesdale he was put in stocks. When he all but tipped it over we started taking him out.He hasn't been put in stocks in like 8 years.

Before the stocks he got aced which I HATED doing to him!A drugged horse will not learn anything!Once mom and the amish guy realized that is when he got put in stocks. So glad he gets trimmed freely now!Doesn't even jump around anymore.

Deb, I don't think she will be a pariah her whole life.  People forget.  All she has to do is move somewhere else.  There were two teenagers in Florida who set a mare's tail on fire for the 'fun' of it.   No one remembers their names now.

There is no jumping around, it was about the entire weight on my farrier and it so helps us in helping irrigate Belle's sinuses.  But, we didn't force we helped them all walk through them, then stop and back out, etc.  Stocks are made for a front and back entrance and I am so grateful i took the time to help them feel safe in the stocks.

Yes, this girl is a sick person.  There is no other way to describe her.  But, the worst of it is to go over having talked to one of the victims and hearing the voice as we tried to get the www.NetPosse.com report to get more out and then get RateMyHorsePro.com involved as well.  But, I talk to people so many times in the stolen or missing cases and sometimes, they do not file with us and that is their choice.

They don't like the auctions to help us make it through the next year.  But, I still try to hang in there because of the ones who do make it home ..even after years.

This case has made me cry every time it comes to my thoughts.  How can someone be so evil?  I just do not understand it.

I agree, we have such a short attention span for all the good as well as the bad.

I don't think she as a Arkansas (ASU) student of the team will be easily forgotten.  This thing has gone viral.  People who don't own horses who have seen the fliers on Fb from my area are asking me over the phone about it.

Plus, her picture pops up every where.  She's made herself very unpopular.  She can never do rodeo...thank God!  for any horse out there since she will never be excepted in that crowd again.
I think she has made a bed to sleep in for the rest of her life.  It'd be like some guy wanting to date Lorena Bobbitt, I don't see her getting asked out too much   Scary!
