digestive aid?I'm considering three digestive aid products for my filly. I definitely want to include one, since I think a horse in the wild would be able to find things in their environment when they need it. And with all the chemicals horses get exposed to via worming, what gets applied to hay, etc., I think normal processes get disrupted.
So I'm thinking of three products and wonder if anyone uses any of them and has any feedback or insight??
DynaPro
ABC Plus
Biovance Restore
Any thoughts on these or other products. Thanks in advance!!

I'm not going to endorse any particular product, but will recommend you find one with both probiotics (the organisms) and prebiotics (the nutrients necessary to support good stomach flora):

Most stomach flora is bio-available on non-processed feeds...hay and pasture. Processing kills a lot of these, but most commercial feed producers add them.
Most horses on regular diets do not need the addition of probiotics, but I like to use them after worming and after vaccinations to boost their digestion. Most horses are little off for a few days. I also add them for my senior horses.
I don't think you have to spend a lot on them, and if they are already in a product you are feeding I would save my $$ and spend on something else.

DynaPro. I have also used it to stop colic in its tracks. And I give it to my dogs. Great stuff.

That's two for Dyna Pro. Her regular supplement does not have any probiotics or digestive aids included. Other than that she just gets hay.
I have heard from a woman who has young horses that Dyna Pro really helps them digest things better. But I've also heard really good things about ABC Plus.
I'll go with Dyna Pro. Thanks for the responses!
