DynamiteI'm ordering Dyna Pro and wondered if it would be helpful to any dynamite distributors to order from you? If not I can order it directly online.

Alex, if no one answers you, at least try to find a distributor who will let you have it for the wholesale price instead of retail, to save you some money. EMAIL me if you need help with that. cajuns_mom@yahoo.com

Thanks, Ann! I'll do that if no one responds. Also would like to know if I should be giving her the Dyna Pro every day or just for a while, or just when she gets wormed or is stressed?? I'm thinking I'll give it to her daily for a while. Should it be forever? Inquiring minds want to know...

DynamiteOne thing I love about Dynamite is that it's a 'less is best' philosophy. I use dyna pro when worming, when they need antibiotics, and when I travel. Other than that, my guys are all very healthy and I don't think they need much....one exception. Echo gets it every single day. He's 27 and his digestive system isn't what it used to be.
So....it's kind of a try it and see. Every day for a while, then back off, and if you see a difference then make adjustments.
BTW, I am a distributor but am not in it to make money. I just like the products and it's cheaper as a distributor. So, if you can find someone who would like you to order from them, by all means. If not, you can get it through me, for the distributor price. I won't be the least bit upset if you get it from someone else.

Alex--I have the Dyna Pro available for an emergency. Haven't used it yet.
I use a different product supplement, Equipride, that has both prebiotics and probiotics in it...if I remember correctly. One reason I use it is because it is in granular form and provides some substance for the mash cocktail I feed my mare.
Maybe you can locate a Dynamite distributor who can guide you in learning applied kinesiology aka muscle testing so that you can ask your horse what is needed...and how often. April is my distributor and showed me the way.
EDIT: Ooops! I was writing when Ann was posting. Didn't mean to step on your toes, Ann.

No problem, you weren't. The object is to do the best possible for Alex's horse and for Alex, right? The more information Alex has, the better.

Hmmm, I've done quite a bit of kinesiology for myself, but I have no idea how to do with for my horse! A fascinating idea! Another question for April (who I plan to call when I get home next week!). Thanks!

Thanks, Ann! I feel like I'm getting a crash course in things I never knew about horses! Wonderful, fascinating stuff! I love that your concern is helping other horse owners.

I checked out EquiPride and it looks good. My vet and I finally settled on a diet with sufficient protein for her since she is a yearling. So I can't, yet, use a full supplement like EquiPride since she is already on LMF Super Supplement, which my vet recommended. I need to go with something that is just for digestion. I have read that young horses don't digest fiber efficiently and that is why they get hay bellies. She definitely has a hay belly, while also being a bit ribby. I know it's partly her age, but I'm hoping the Dyna Pro helps with both issues. The recommended dose is 2 ccs daily.
Ann, I think I'll send you an email. I very much appreciate the offer of getting it a bit cheaper!
Thanks for the posts and the generous feedback!

Everyone on my property gets DynaPro daily - dogs and horses. Might help explain why I've had no emergency vet calls in 3 years except for one injury.
Remember, the Dynamite philosophy is to get the whole horse healthy and keep it that way not just to treat symptoms.

I know I've heard really good things about Dynamite. I would love to have her on Dynamite supplements rather than the LMF. But I'm not sure what would be appropriate for an almost 2 yr old horse. If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions I can send to my vet, I'd appreciate it greatly. If nothing else, I'll get Dyna Pro and start with that.
Thanks again!
