Facial sores

My QH/Perch mare developed 2 sores just below her lower lip last week. They seemed to have a dot in them as if they were a bite, both weeped a bit of fluid and healed fairly quickly with a little topical ointment. I can just detect a small lump still where they each were. A few days later, a sore about the size of a dime on her cheek. Weeped a bit more than the other, is healing now (I keep pulling scab off) and a definite lump under it.

This mare has always been partial to hives and has an aversion to bugs. We keep the farm pretty free of flies so she does ok. I think these are bites from something that she is reactive to, but thought I would throw it out here just in case. Any thoughts?

Sarcoids? Do you have any photos?

My mare has sarcoids (under her right eye) and she is a thin skinned TB, who is prone to Queensland Itch (Sweet Itch), etc.  Bugs/flies drive her absolutely crazy.
