Hello from Rik

Hello I live in the UK with my 3 horses, I was recommended this forum by Jack but after reading the board rules I noticed it’s for discussing PNH, I have studied PNH and have seen PP working in the flesh but it’s not something I’m hugely interested in at this point of my journey.

But on reading the “Horse general Chat” I noticed some of the people I have studied and am interested in are being discussed Tom Dorrance, Ray Hunt, Kathleen Lindley etc as well a little bit of Classical which Is very important to me and some of the Spanish influenced horsemanship in the Americas.

I hope it’s ok to stay and talk about horses.

It looks like there are some interesting discussions to be had.

Richard, it sounds like you are where most of us are, our foundation in Parelli and Natural Horsemanship and now exploring other methods, clinicians, continuing our journey.   There are no "requirements" for being here.  It is about The Horse....

You're most welcome.   Now post a picture of your beautiful horses.

Ok but these are the only pictures i have access to at the moment, they are about 5 years old, when we had just finished the Menage (They are trying it out) and halfway through the stables.

Welcome Rik,

I think you'll find that everything is open for discussion here. I for one am learning a lot. Nice horses - what is Cedric's breed?
Rik

He is a Gypsy Cob, i think they call them Vanner horses in the US.

Carol it was this attitude that encouraged me to join in and I knew Rik felt the same. I'm glad he's here and I know he has a lot to offer us all on this forum. I don't care about Parelli affiliations etc., just love to talk horses with folks. Thanks for making it possible. There are some good things being discussed here.

Nice horses eh.  See that big grey?   Glad your here Rik.

Nice to have more guys, too!  This forum is more about exploring all methods of horsemanship.  A lot of us started with Parelli as a foundation program, but that's all.  It's common ground, but not the only path.  Welcome and hope to hear from you guys a lot!
