Hi All

Made it, will chat more later! Thanks, Carol. Nice to see a place where for me the best policy is not to say nothing.

Thanks people.

A bit about me...

I got into Parelli in 1995 when I had an ou of control young horse I had bred but left with my mother, who spoiled him as a foal then wondered why he tuened into a menace. On the point of doggin the horse, we went to this Dave Stuart school in Albury and fence sat. I joint Parelli way back then, went through the levels in the days when everything was on paper, right though to breaking in that out of control young horse. I am not sure what level that makes me but the horse is still a treasured part of the family and is rising 18.

I have come back and forth over the years as I primarily use  the methods of a fellow called Tom Roberts with the foundation on all my youngsters of 7 Games.

In recent years, after my young stallion was sent away as a rising 2yo and so badly abused he will never fully revcover, I have been realising my childhood dream of qualifying as an equine health clinician. I study acutherapy, herbalism, aromatherapy, nutrition and science equally. My husband is a barefoot trimmer and massage therapist. Both of us have been formalising the skills over the last few years.

We breed Arabians and Arabain Stockhorses for endurance and out NH and clinical studies. My particular boys are my bay 5yo stallion, Nashama, my grey 3yo gelding, Aslaan, and one of the rescues, Delfire, a grey 13yo purebred. Glen's particular horses are Rhydian, the 18yo Arabian Stock Horse, and Zainal, a yearling colt. We share the very beautiful and talented brood mare, Melody (Moonlite Belle), who was retired to stud after a career as a show and harness horse. Melody is Mum to Sham, Aslaan and Zainal.

Our primary interest at the moment is in furthering our clinical studies and running our Horsemanship Study Group at Temora, north of Wagga Wagga, Australia.

Welcome, and I agree.  Always nice to see people knowledgeable in other areas.   You never know when someone will have THE magic idea for your problem.

Glad you're here.

Thanks all,

Yep, there is a lot of shut down expertise in the SC - I'm talking qualified equine clinicians who say nothing because it;s a pretty unfriendly place if you don't cheerlead everything put out as 'good' horsemanship.

There is advice I will not give eg dosage rates of dangerous herbs, nut mostly feel free to ask and I will try to answer. Life is a learning journey, and learning should be shared. :D
