Horse..avenue to awareness?A friend loaned me a book It's Not About The Horse by Wyatt Webb. Good book so far. Anybody read it?

Tried therapy, tried everything. Got a horse. Started Parelli. Woke up ever so slowly. Still waking up. I could never have healed without horses. Had some help from the universe. Then they sent me a horse. Literallly SENT ME A HORSE. Some lady I didn't know bought me Bit. Then she just dissapeared. Guess we all have the choice to heal or not, when a horse comes into our lives. Our horses mirror it all. All the pain, the fear, the anger, and they wait for us to wake up.

Ha ha Nancy...just gettin ya back  Actually, I still have to order Illusions.  Just bought my new saddle and got to buy a new car this week. Three clutches in 3 months is not funny at all Standard got to go I need to let hubby reel back from these expenditures before I place a book order...but of course we don't get books here for a cheap as you guys do...if they're cheap we pay up for it in shipping...oh well

I know y'all are sick of hearing about these CWG books but I swear. I can't help it. They are awesome. I was reading last night and I thought about this thread, and this sentence jumped out at me:
"Each person comes to wisdom in a way that is most understandable, along a path that is most familiar."
For some of us, of course, it is the horse!
(for others, it's...well, math, perhaps. THOSE are the weirdos you have to watch out for LOL)

Horses ARE therapy. A lot cheaper in my opinion too because you get to keep the money you put into horses.
I'm being GIVEN Bodie-- an incredible horse worth a lot of money and look what the universe did- put me in a place to accept this incredible horse that has a lot to teach me in my path.
Deb- as always- your post really applies to a lot of people's lives. I had no idea about how you got Bit- what a fascinating story! How curious

It's very good. It's one of the three books that led me on my journey among horses. One day I'll meet Wyatt Webb.

Great Nancy...Hope you enjoy it. Hubby read it too and enjoyed it as much as I do...he actually read it to the end. Got to be a good book for him to do that.
