I was very disappointed. However, I never finished it...so perhaps you shouldn't rely too much on my review. It is co-authored by three PhD's. I found the writing disjointed from chapter to chapter. Apparently they took turns writing the chapters. Too much disruption of the flow of the narrative for me. The quality of writing was rather uneven from chapter to chapter. I did enjoy the chapter about the Iberian Horse Community and learning about the riding style in Iberia.
Author Rupert Sheldrake (whose theory of morpho-genetic fields I love) describes it as "Beautifully written, graceful, and wise." So go figure.

Thx Marty,,,I was hoping for a better review. I read a few pages on Amazon and thought it looked interesting. Hopefully some others have read it and can share as well. Maybe it got better as it went on
Anyway, I didn't order it, thought I would check here first before spending my hard earned dough
