If you live near KansasI wanted to put this on gen chat because I wanted to make sure that it was seen. There are some amazing horses in need of a home, top of the line, and probably free. If you think you can help, this is a great opportunity to pick up a great horse.
The horses are located in the Wichta, Kansas area. We've found that these matters can be very sensitive so please be polite if you call to inquire. If some folks are in that area, you might be able to get a real nice horse. When she says "truck" it means truck to auction which is often the beginning of slaughter pipeline for many horses that will go for whatever people will give~or could mean a slaughter truck..let's not let this happen to these horses coming into winter and deserving of a loving home:
"We're downsizing our horse herd and have a truck coming Dec. 5 to haul a bunch off. It makes me sick and I would rather give them away than see that happen. We have several 1,2,3 and 4 year old colts by Dashing Doc San who is by Dox Wired Lena who is by Doc O'Lena on the top and Peppys Butterfly by Peppy Docsan on the bottom side. The mares they're out of are all cow bred mares. Some of the colts are papered and some I just couldn't justify the expense. Most are extremely gentle and have even had one completely broken by a young lady, all by herself, as a 4-H project. Some of the mares I would sell cheap (because they're Dad's), others I would give to the right home and still others I wouldn't let anyone have because they have bad attitudes. If you don't feed your horses, don't bother to reply. I would rather get it over with than see them starve to death. Call me at 620-886-5404 and leave a message. Thanks!
