Interesting discussion on the Dutch systemhttp://chronicleforums.com/Forum/showthread.php?t=222242
On page 2 (I think) is a link to a youtube ride worth riding and discussing.
Just for those interested in following this discussion...

The article linked to is lets say it nicely : oh well. Its mainly blowing a chauvinistic horn on the dutch system. In the discussion about riding (on coth) they keep falling into the same old in my opinion worthless argument : The judges think its good so it must be. Just because they are scoring the points somehow its all good, it apperently doesnt mather horses are cranked down with double bridles and tie downs.
I will give the "dutch system" this they have set up a great talentplan (From the sports point of view) that allows those that score big points in the youth competitions etc to progress and they offer these riders great oppertunitys (Wether or not these are the best riders or those with the best horses is for everyone to decide on their own)
Also we are able to breed extremely good horses in terms of what they want to see this day and age. And they tend to be paired with dutch riders.
On the dutch system itself i think my opinion is clear: its a worthless excuse for what dressage should be : art.
On the youtube ride. Wow that horse can extend, im no fan of the german system (it lacks passion imo but that`s a german thing i guess )and its easy to point the obvious stuff, but it deffently was a nice ride, what it has to do with the dutch system though : i have no clue..

There is a ilimit to how much I can read and take in at once. I have just read pathfinder dressage which is an interesting overview of all systems, I have come to the conclusion that I just need to get on with riding as its all too much for the brain to cope with! Preferring to go to see clinics this week!
