Hello all - I have been gone from the forum for the last 6 weeks because I have been spending all of my free time horse dating. Phew, it is nearly a full time job!

I am happy to report that after 23 in-person dates, and 7 in depth telephone/internet dates, I finally met Mr Right.

His name is Phoenix and he is a 4 year old Andalusian/TB cross. He is being delivered tomorrow and I can barely stand the wait. I am 50 and this is "my" first horse - all the other horses in my life either belonged to someone else or were purchased for my children or husband and then ended up being mine. This is the first one I picked out just for me. Wow, what a journey.
