There are 45 horses/ponies/donkey's up for placement. Information about these animals is very sketchy and there is no reliable detail regarding their training, including whether they have ever been appropriately halter trained or prepared to carry a rider.

Most of these equids have continuing nutritional needs to reach a healthy weight. Everyone of them will also require vaccinations, hoof care and dental care. All have been dewormed within the past 30 days. At this time, there is no evidence of communicable disease amongst the herd.

The horses are currently held in a secure location and will not be available for public viewing. Individuals who pursue the placement application process will be invited, on a specific day and time, to view the horses. The location and time of that viewing will be determined at a later date.

Applications will be processed in the order they are received. Instructions as to how you can submit your application are located at the Horse Calls website.

Once the application has been reviewed, a facility inspector will be assigned to meet you at the location where the horse will be housed to determine that the facility is both safe and appropriate and that the resources are available to properly care for any animal which is placed.

There is no cost for the placement of these horses but we are seeking homes where these animals will be appropriately cared for during the rest of their natural life.
