Can you do that??
On the other forum an email would be sent, someone posted to that perticular thread that you had posted to it would let you know.

If you look at the bottom of this page, on the left corner, there is a link that says "watch this topic". I am assuming you will be notified when some posts.

It's right under the little New topic or Post reply.

At the top of the page, there is a list of blue links (FAQ, search, memberlist, profile, and others)

click on the one that says profile.

scroll down the page a bit and there will be a list of check boxes:

One is called--
Always notify me of replies:
Sends an e-mail when someone replies to a topic you have posted in. This can be changed whenever you post. Yes No

And another is called--
Notify on new Private Message: Yes No

If you check yes for both of these, you should get an e-mail when ever someone replies to a thread you've posted on or whenever someone sends you a private message.

As well, when you're on the home page, there's a little link near the top that says "read all new messages since last visit" or something like that. I like to click on that to see what people have been discussing since the last time I logged on!
