I have been so busy with school lately and my forum browsing has suffered. Finally had a chance to read your article and it is great. I think it will allow traditionals to open their eyes to the importance of healthy hoof conformation. That is what is most important. People can debate barefoot vs. shod all day long but no one in their right mind would argue for unhealthy hoof conformation...

Bingo my friend. This article and my article from last year are not pro bare or anti shoe-the things I discuss just apply to hooves and don't point fingers at trimmers vs farriers.
