Mystery of the day:Mystery of the Day: When I fed this morning, Bien's face was wet: from her ears, over her eyes and down her face. But the rest of her was completely dry, including her muzzle, chin, neck, etc. No sign of sweat anywhere. I felt it with my bare hands, it was not blood and it was not dried sweat. It was wet. It was 24 degrees. She is stabled complete inside the indoor arena and her stall. There is no water and the skies are crystal clear and dry.

Could she have had her head out the door for a while as the sun was coming up, and got dew settled on her?

Can any other horse reach her? If so, maybe the other horse drank some water and got it on her by maybe playing???

rose dunks her head in the water trough up to and past her eyes. she then blows bubbles, then splashes herself, chest and almost back to her butt. it is her morning 'bath' that she takes religiously everyday when it is warm, and just her face when it is cold.
i like the whole "dew' idea too.

This is what I was thinking. Bubba likes to fill his mouth with water then walk around a look for someone to dump it on....usually me.
