Navicular Syndrome and IRAP

IRAP (Interleukin-1 Receptor Antagonist Protein)

Just wondered if anyone had any experience on the use of this technique?  Its fairly new technology.

Molly was diagnosed with Navicular Syndrome today and this was discussed as one of the treatment options.  Looks pretty clever and sort of "natural" in light of it encouraging the body to heal itself.  We plan to give it a go, initial results seem very positive from what information I have found.

We have had her 7 months and are working on feet balance with a KC podiatrist, she is turned out, forage diet.  Inter articular injections and egg bar shoes have also been discussed (am hoping to avoid shoes if I can help it but if needs must...)

Just after experiences good or bad if anyone can help

Thanks in advance

Sam

Samfern, have you seen Pete Ramey's Under the Horse discs yet? He does a great deal of explaining about Navicular problems in disk four entitled Navicular/Foot Development. If you're in the U.S. you can rent it from horseflix.com or giddyupflix.com.
