Owner died, 30+ Paso Finos need homes now...I got this e-mail yesterday...I do not personally know the owner or the Vicki who is selling/giving away the horses. Open your hearts....these are incredible horses. No other breed like them.

I emailed all of you some months ago when Bill Roberts (Cuerno Grande Paso Finos, Deaver, WY) was diagnosed with cancer and left his ranch for treatment. He went through chemo therapy all summer and spent the fall in Powell and Sheridan in various facilities before passing away the beginning of December in Sheridan, WY.
I have been selling and giving away many of his horses all year and now have the entire responsibility for placing the remaining horses. I still have about 35-40 that will need to be sold. Prices are extremely reasonable...in some cases I am just asking enough to cover the delivery expenses. I have already placed almost 30 since last Spring. I have taken over ownership from the family to prevent theses horses from going to horse traders, the sale barn and slaughter. Like may parts of our country this is Quarter Horse country and the beautiful Paso Finos as remarkable trail and endurance horses are overlooked.
I still have 2 beautiful papered stallions and a few papered broodmares. I have been working to identify all the remaining horses so that they can be registered by the new owners. I can do that for most of the horses, if you need to be able to register one in the future.
I have weanlings, yearlings and 2-4 year olds ready for training. I have some grullas, many bays and sorrels, a few blacks and a few lineback duns. I even have some older pasture pals if someone needs one of those! I have attached a few pictures.
If you or anyone you know is interested in a Paso with good bloodlines (some go back to the national champion Batalla) at a reasonable price, please let me know. Pass the word! I have hundreds of photos and will even deliver for the cost of the gas! I have feed enough for the winter, but will be in trouble come summer, so please give these horses some serious thought and share the information with your horse friends. These will all be halter broke when they leave. Some may have some other groundwork on them. None are currently broke to ride...there are just too many of them for us to get the job done! However I do have a very reasonably priced young trainer who does a great job starting horses, if you want to pay a bit extra to have that done before the horse leaves here.
Thank you in advance for your assistance!
