I get this idea in my head of what ya'll "feel" like, and then I see a picture, and I'm always so surprised. I don't know what I thought you looked like, or your horse, but I'd love to see everyone's face and their horse. Can we start a family photo scrapbook? I'm always the one taking the pictures, so I have very few of me with the horses. Lots of my horses. I'll share one of Gunner. He was never allowed to play with his mouth. Got smacked if he did, so this is a picture of the first time he was allowed to play with something. He was so shy about it, waiting for me to react. This was our first day as partners. We went from this, to exuberant bucking, kicking, running and playing. I'd go up and nip at the side of his mouth with my hand and go running off, hopping and bucking like a crazy woman. He finally got it, and we had a blast. He'd never played with a human before.

Here's a picture of Dakota and me a few months ago. She's gotten bigger since then and is starting to look like the 2-yr-old she will soon be, but still has this adorable baby face. I love the way she looks at me, just like this, when she's asking questions:

This is not a particularly good photo & I think Sonny was a bit angry too, but it's one of only a few action shots I have. It's from 2005 I think about the time the saddle started pinching him & I was still using the JW snaffle which he hated. But he gets like that anyway when it's cattle working time. He's a lot better now

I did manage to get my 3 cattle penned though.

The one on the right is just last weekend but Sonny has a REALLY bad attitude to the nice little mare my friend is riding. It wasn't until the camera had clicked that I realised what he was doing & it was too late then because he moved the mare out of shot! I smacked him across the back of the neck on her side as she moved towards him & he thought she had bitten him & he got a real shock!

Clarrissa, I LOVE your riding attire! I have that same outfit! Actually, that's my dress up version. Most of the time, I'm in clothes that would be more appropriate for The People of Walmart photos going around.
Buffalo Bill, that's a nice looking paint ya got! I love paints! Gunner is my sweet boy! Course Ecliipse is my black beauty, and oh my little Bitty.

I love all the pics. Over the weekend I took my camera out to the barn so someone could get a pic of me and Scout and forgot to take it out of the truck.

Next month I am having April Battles come work on my horse http://www.holistichorseworks.com/ I went next door and watched her work on several horses over the weekend. Scout doesn't hold his chiropractic adjustments, so I'm gonna give her a try. Will let you all know what happens.
