Ross JacobsI found this fellow a couple years ago through Harry Whitney. I have not yet had the pleaure of working with him personally but I hope to one day. He has a wonderful website and blog. This is a great way to get a 101 version of his philosophy http://www.goodhorsemanship.com.au/Articles/Articles.html
Like Harry he focuses on the horse's thought with the idea wherever that is, his feet are working to get to. Unlike using the body to get to the mind, use the mind to get to the body. Good stuff for us but your mileage may vary.

Now isn't THAT the truth about all training methods? Perhaps a disclaimer on all clinics, books, and DVDs.

Back in 1996 there were articles by him printed in Hoofs & Horns. I was impressed and saved them. I still have them and find them interesting. Also articles by Sandy Morphett , Phil Rodey and Steve Brady. I think there were a number of very good horsemen around then and the magazines were happy to publish articles on the subject. You don't see so many horsey magazines on the supermarket booksheves nowadays.
