guys, I have this pad and it's been a pleasure for me and my horse. You can purchase the thin wool pad at saddle rite to go under and your pad will stay brand new for you. It works really well under the bare back pad, too.
I could have bought any pad, and did a lot of research. This is the pad I chose, and highly recommend it.
