Swims with Horses....a video tale about moving onHey Ho....been on walk about.....again.....if it isn't one thing it is another.....some bullies broke my kids arm at school....and now I have been doing 8th grade math, science, english, and band homework for a couple weeks! I distinctly remember why I hated school. But...I am on vacation this week, taking breaks from painting the bathroom....so I thought I would share the next step in my journey. I finally kicked my friends ass' to the curb, and quite re-arranging my life to suit their whims.....and am making new friends. My husband son and I went to the lake with some friends of his from work who have horses. My son with his cast, just sat around and visited with the other kids his age, and my husband visited with all the non horse people. we were able to park right at the lake, just 10ft from the shore...set up the bbq.....and partied away.
I made alot of realizations while I rode my horse around, swam with her in the lake, and rode her in the lake. she was AWESOME......and as I watched all these non natural people around me, living life and having fun....I realized so accutely, I have not enjoyed life for a long time. little things, parelli things n the like....I thought I was having fun......but this was a slap in the face as to what FUN is....and how I have not seen it for a long time. I realized I infact have an amazing riding horse. All my fears and lack of confidences of the past, melted away as we mosied off along on our own, with others, or even being left behind by inconsiderate gallopers! She and I strengthened our bond, and realized, finally, that the thing I have been searching for, in all this ground work, has been there all along. Granted, not having snookie to drag around is making it easier, though I miss her tremendously, letting her go, letting the past go, letting the baggage go, letting my friends go, letting my pain go....I found what was right underneath my nose. the thing I could barely see through foggy haze of crap that surrounded me, that when i reached for it, seemed to get further and further away, once I pushed all the crap aside....I finally was able to grasp. hell, I was having so much fun....I even rode around in my bathing top, and let my gut hang out! (though it is lobster red) I also attended a really fun play day, found a new parelli friend right her in my home town, and we are going to another play group this friday together....woo hooo
I found ME!

Hey Michelle, what a great video!!! You looked so relaxed and just having a day of fun Isn't it great when you weed out the crap in your life and introduce what is good for you?! Great post. Hope your son heals quickly both physically and mentally. Being bullied is no laughing matter. Thanks for your post...it made my day!!!!

Enjoyed your video and the song you chose to play with it.
Thank goodness for the crap so we can better appreciate when we've got it good! If you ever feel down, you can go back and watch your video to remember how good it can be.

What a wonderful video! You should be proud of yourself for taking charge of your life. I don't have a lot of "friends" learned a long time ago that people just let me down and bring me down.
Who is the shirtless cowboy?

Thanks You guys. I feel GREAT! I am going to a play/study group tonight, and a playday on the 25th. I feel soo liberated.
Becky...... Hubba Hubba He is HOT! He is also married as well as I am
But....it sure is some knee shaking, tongue waging, drooling, good time eye candy
I have a few pics of him. The video is worth watching just to see him.....
He looks just as good in wranglers....in fact.....some of the best buns in wranglers I have EVER seen. He showed up in his cowboy boots, board shorts, sleeveless 'cable guy' shirt and his cow boy hat. It's a good thing him and his wife are such great people......he'd get torn to shreds by all the single ladies. Yummy!
