A classic case of getting out of the horse's way!
That horse really had her rider hanging on for all he was worth. He was almost unseated several times.

Great video Deb. There really is nothing that compares with riding a true cutting horse. You are right Clarissa, they will leave you behind. I remember watching Magic cutting...she turns into a whole different animal.

I loved how kind he was to that horse. When he lost the cow, he reached down and gave her a pat and then let her shine. And shine she did! It wasn't him it was a very talented, althletic horse doing the work, and he was just along for one hell of a ride.

I don't think he lost the cow. They normally only work a cow for a minute or so and then let it go and get out a fresh one.
Did you see the video of the cutting horse that went down on her knees to get to the cow? She was really impressive.

I think some horses are just built, bred, and born to do certain things.
That mare was obviously born to cut cows!
