We had our A/C reading today and I am blown away, on cloud 9

The A/C 1st connected with my horses about 30 min before the scheduled call. I sent her one pic of each horse. Along with their name and very little about them. She is in another state so the pics were her only vice.
I waited for the appointed moment and eagerly dialed her number. We chatted briefly about the weather and then she began by telling me what each horse had told her and what she felt with each horse.
The 1st sentence was " You must be a great horse owner because all of them are very happy and want you to know that you are the kindest person they have ever known." My heart melted and I let out an, aaawww

She started with Powder. My daughter's pony. Previous lesson pony and LBI.

She stated Powder says he is very smart. He loves it at your place because their is not so much pressure there. He used to pull a cart of wear a surgicle of some kind and he hated it. He needs more magensium. He has a slight pain in his right shoulder and mild pain in both stifles. He keeps telling me that you are very kind to him and he likes having one young girl who is with him.

I then asked a few questions.

Why is he head shy ? He says to come at him in a different direction

Does he like our trail rides ? He gets a little anxious and scared but he can deal with it and wants to keep going. Asks us to be patient. (he was previous rode in an arena most of the time)

Does his saddle fit ok ? There is a little pressure near the 2nd or 3rd rib area but on his back.

Next was Willow. She said she read thatWillow had 'big heart energy' and was emotional. That Willow thinks I am smart and I know how to help her. She has some tightness at the pole and behuind her shoulders, mild. Her left stifle feels a little stiff. At her previous home her mouth was pulled on hard. (I've seen the photos of her being rode at the previous barn, true ! ) She was a barrel horse when she was young but not for a long time. She has been passed around to new homes thoughout her life.

I then asked.

How does Willow feel about my riding ? She feels there is more weight in your left stirrup than the right but that you are gentle and patient.

How does Willow like her name ? (she was previously called mare) She thinks her name is prettier now than her old one.

Does she miss old friends, either horses or humans ? (I asked this because she sometimes stares off in the distance when I try to touch her and walks away from me)
She misses two horses from her previous home, a bay and a chestnut. She does feel happy with her new herd though.

She added that Willow keeps asking if you will send her away. She's afraid to emotionally commit to you because she tried to in the past with other humans and they sent her away.
She then told Willow I would not send her away. I would keep her for the rest of her life.

Then, last but not least, Jake.
She said Jake says he is 11 years old. (I have been told 6,7 and 10 in the past)
She said Jake was shyer (sp) than the other two. That he kinda felt a little strange as he did not think humans would talk to him like this. He asked that I be patient with him as everything feels new to him. She said he sent her pictures of his previous life where he was spinning and reining. Then a picture of himself standing in a pasture. He said he had pain back then as he was never properly warmed up before the reining. (this is what blew me away cause the guy I bought him from said that they just get on and ride when I asked if he ever lunged Jake

) The previous owner was a cowboy type. Jake also said he is sweet on Willow. YEP!!! (I knew that !!!) And he think Powder is a comedian. (they entertain each other quite a bit

)

I then asked some questions about Jake.

Why are you so sensitive an reactive ? I remeber spurs and when I was spurred I had to go fast. I am not totally convinced I will not feel pain again so I hurry and go. (OMG,that makes total sense and I never thought of that!

)

Why have you tried to kick me twice in the last month ? (he never did this before) It was just a threat, you need to be more in the moment with me, I need your full attention.

I gave the A/C very limited info on each horse and she nailed it for each one. WOW !!!

I will be contacting her again in the future !

OH ! one last thing they said was that they love the carrots ! I give them carrots every day and carrots are the ONLY treat my horses get. I never told the A/C this.

I then talked to a friend on the phone for an hour while all this sunk in.

After I hung up I slipped on my boots and went to see the horses.

I took them some carrots. They ALL met me at the gate. They all looked like they had smoked some serious weed, their eyes were lazy and they licked and chewed alot. Then they all began yawning and after the carrots were gone they stood with me. Willow was breathing hard, an audible breathing that she has never done in my presence, she kept yawning and she let me touch her head. I stood with my hand on her forehead and she lowered her head and let me slip my arms around her head and I held her like this for at least 5 min. An overwhelming sense of peace overtook me. She let me in. She even stuck her toungue out a tiny bit and gave me a mini lick on the hand. Unheardof !!!
All the while Jake was steady licking my right hand for at least 10 min. His eyes were glazed over and he was gentle and sweet. He looked high as a kite. He yawned and his eyes rolled back into his head. This made me feel so close to him and I sensed he was relievd I now understood why he was so sensitive. I told him it all makes sense now.
Powder was standing close. I walked towards him and squateed down and he put his nose down to me. He let me scratch his chest and he stood very quiet and still for a few minutes. He then walked off to enjoy some hay.

The bond was complete understanding,euphoria, bliss. We are a complete unit now. I look at each one now with new understanding. I am so happy and I feel they are too.

I felt the same way the first time I had my horses done. It was a very powerful experience for me and really helped me move forward from my grief over Moochie's death.

I know AC's aren't for everyone but for me it was a wonderful experience.

The understanding and feeling of unity and contentness has spilled over and lingered into today. Their eyes are different. I can 'see' them now in a way I couldn't before. At feeding time there was no tail swishing and ear pinning. Jake respected me more than before and didn't even try to steal the others bucket like he normally tries. He thought about it though. He gets that naughty look in his eye, you know the one I mean. But I told him no and he could hear me.
Jake stood on his pedestal and licked me some more

Then out of the blue Willow comes and stands next to us, when he stepped off the pedestal, she stepped on

She never did that without me asking, sigh .......
Powder has a different glow in his eye, but remember he told me he was smart and I feel he never wants to be with people who don't think he is. He may be a little 13 hand pony but he knows his stuff

I told him, I know you are smart and he let me stroke his back and remove some shedding hair with my hand.
