What is OCD??

Does anyone have a horse with OCD--  just wondering-- I can't find any good information/articles on it.  Thanks!!!!

OCD in our world is obsessive compulsive disorder. Maybe in horses it is like cribbing or weaving?

Generally it's seen in young horses with a calcium overload or cal/phos/mag imbalance. If you look up Thoroughbred Village they usually have good information on things like that as it's so common in overfed young TB's.

CoolLady - it's actully a joint disease in young horses, but, yep, horses can become obsessive-compulsive.
