What's wrong with this horse? Riding video attached.Ok, a disclaimer: If SavvyBeliever is a member of this forum, I apologise! But something is really NOT GOOD here.
This horse looks to be very stiff in the rear end, and the rider bouncing the trot on top must really hurt. This is very painful for me to watch I really hope the rider (who appears to really love her horse and her horsemanship) can find herself in the company of Karen Rohlf, Buck, Philippe Karl, Ray Hunt etc... and soon!

So painful to watch and contradictory to the theory of putting the horse first. Even if the horse was sound, if he won't stand to get on but she gets on anyway and she's supposed to be L3 or so, that is really bad.
*shakes head*
Urgh.

Mel, I want to point out one of the few rules on this board...
| Quote: | | Please do not flame other members or their horses or mules. Do not post pictures of horses or mules that are not yours and ask for conformation comments. |
I am going to lock this thread so no one comments on the video. If people wish to discuss it in PM, that is one thing. I don't want the owner/rider coming here and being dissected publicly without her permission. If she finds this thread and wants people's comments, then I'll unlock it for her.
Just for the record, I've had posts like this hurt two very good freinds. One was hurt by comments about her riding...but she was just riding a horse a guy had bought for video so the man could see the horse gait. It wasn't her saddle nor was she in any kind of judged class....people shredded her equitation.
Another was a request for conformation analysis on a horse to be purchases. People tore the horse apart, and granted it had some faults (what horse doesn't?) but nothing that would make the horse unsound for her intended use...trail riding. The sale fell through.
Thank you all for understanding. Thank you Leah for already keeping it in PM.
