White Deer

I was reading to my sister earlier today from my book about manifesting what it is that you desire.

Later in the day she was talking to Ida, our stepmother, and Ida said that somewhere in her area is an albino deer that apparently everybody else has seen except her and how bad she wanted to see it. Jenny shared with her what we were talking about and when they got off the phone Ida did what she said (essentially to pray with faith that it has already been given). Fifteen minutes later the white deer showed up for viewing!

Here are some cool links for white deer if y''all haven''t seen them before.

We have a big white buck living in our area; often seen on our property.  It is the first day of deer season today and I'm keepin my fingers crossed, as I do every year, that he makes it through again.

There was a white deer below town a few years ago...I don't think he even made it TO deer season.   They stand out pretty starkly on a dark background.

I grew up in a hunting family and am very much a naturalist about pray animals and predators...but I'm still quite sure I couldn't intentionally kill a deer.  I've accidentally killed one, a doe ran into the side of my car while I stopped for a whole herd crossing at night.  It broke her neck.  I felt terrible and cried...

In many areas deer populations are where Mustang populations are in the west, overpopulated for the available forage and no predators.

Carol, I vote you and I start a mountain lion breeding and release program LOL

My daughter told me she saw a white deer while riding the school bus   They live !!

The conservation agent told me about 1 in 40,000.  My neighbor is having a full body mount and then selling it to Bass Pro.  It'll cost about $2,600 and he hopes the return will be worth it.

so the big buck that lives in your area is a gonner??

Yes, killed the first evening  Headed for display somewhere.

Erin there are several of these white deer off of 973 at the Rices Crossing area. Drive that way around 5 or 6 in the evening and you are sure to see one.

Gobs of the ghostly buggars here in WI.   It is Illegal to shoot a full albino deer during any hunting season.   Or any other time for that matter.

Yeah, they're not protected in our state.  The albinos are pretty but I like the pibald ones.  Those are some really interesting looking deer.

Jackspark, I'm sorry to hear about your white buck.  We had a gray doe that lived on mom & dad's farm for many years.  We used to put feed in the barn for her in hopes she'd hang out at the barn more & in the woods less.  We saw her for 6-8 years (can't remember now).  Very unusual, huge doe.  Never knew what happened to her but she was a beauty.  We all shed a tear when we stopped seeing her.
