we have had an amazing days hacking in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. all the old railway tunnels along the monsal trail have been re opened to walkers, cyclists and riders, inside the tunnels are recesses where the railway workers would have stood back in whenever a train came through while the line was being worked on, they are lit but are still very dark, my boy needed to check out every dark place but he didnt hesitate when i asked him to go through these dark places, we took the time it took so the next time he wont worry.the scenery is dramatic limestone, and the river full of big trout jumping for the mayflies. wow How far have we come??? pre parelli we wouldnt have had the confidence or leadership skills to get through this kind of stuff.

For anyone in the UK interested in Marijke de Jong's Straightness Training....

I'm really excited to be able to tell you that in late November, one of Marijke de Jong's top Straightness Training Instructors, Joyce Mulder will be coming to Suffolk for a week and a half  (dates still to be finalised)

Whilst she's here, there will be the opportunity to have lessons with either or both of us.

There are various options available for lessons with Joyce:

She can run day clinics along the same format as Marijke's clinic, for which we can book Orwell Arena (near Levington in Suffolk), which will cost around £600 for the day, split between up to 8 participants.

Or, you can opt to take a private lesson at £45 per hour.  If we travel to you, mileage will be charged at 40p per mile from IP12 3LD.  Alternatively I can arrange hire of facilities in this area at £20 per hour which will save you the mileage charge.  Please note that as this is late November, indoor facilities would be best to ensure you don't have to worry about the weather!

Prices for lessons with me are available on my website (www.suffolkhorsemanship.co.uk).

One of Joyce's aims in travelling to the UK is to improve her Natural Horsemanship skills, so if you're having problems with your horses respect levels, or your horses is particularly challenging, we can offer you private lessons together at a competitive price. Please contact me if this is the case.

Please feel free to forward this to anyone you think might be interested, and ask them to get in touch with me!

Look forward to hearing from you!

I am travelling from Surrey to Yorkshire in November, saddle fitting.
If anyone should want some advice or a saddle fitting or check - please let me know! I can also do Parelli and Balance saddles if required!
