Thank you, Sandra.  We are always happy when we get one home.  We try hard to educate folks on prevention, but thieves watch us as well.  So  we are alert.

My horse was sold to unknown buyer without papers and proof of ownership by the owner of the facility he was being kept. I was not notified that she had sold him nor did she ever mention that she was intending to do so. I found out when a friend of mine went to groom him in the evening as a favor for me. The woman that sold him is still withholding the whereabouts of the horse or any information regarding the illegal sale. I have not been able to locate my horse. I have all the papers and proof of ownership of the gelding. I am concerned for his well being. I want my horse to have a swift and safe return to his legal owner being me.

Update: Hercules was repossessed 5/11. He was extremely thin and covered in rain rot. Neglect was very apparent, hips and ribs were very prominent, he will have to gain at least 75-100lbs. The same people had him, willingly turned over the horse. Several excuses about lost contact information and why the horse couldn't gain weight. Hercules lost half his beautiful mane, his feet need to be badly trimmed and he needed a good worming. Hercules is in my sister-in-laws hands and will be coming up to Maryland to be with his family in June. Buyers of Hercules de Iluminada failed to send payment to sellers, refuse to send payment and now refuse to respond to attempts to contact them for payment and new placement of the horse.
