It's already on netflix, so I assume it will be available to buy on dvd.

The documentary airs on Friday the 21st and Buck will be at the Dolly bookstore in Park City on the 25th to sign book and meet people.

Normally after the Festival the films are bought for airing by different media. Some documentaries go big, like Micheal Moore's movies, but most don't and go to smaller theaters.

I used to go to the Festival when I was in college for the newspaper (we got free tickets). I am sure things have changed a lot since then and while it may seem like a long time, it probably won't be long until it is available on DVD.

WAIT!! The interviewer spills a part of the ending, where, if you want to be surprised, don't watch the long interview!!! I was disappointed but oh well. The rest of the interview was good. That part was good too but I would have preferred not to know the ending!!! For crying out loud.

You know, they shot over 300 hours of footage and the documentary is only just under two hours long. I wrote and email BEGGING them to release some of the other footage, somehow, someway! Heck they could do a subscription type thing and trickle it out over time....

Great interviews. I saw that "Buck" won the Audience Award. So, I imagine it is a pretty good film. I liked what I saw in the interviews, that it will be Buck, pure and simple and not a scripted Buck, which is more what the Horse Whisperer was.

I'm looking forward to it.
