Eclipse would always walk away if I touched her. Since her "aloof" lable. Hmmm, blame the horse. Since becoming mindful of intent, she allows my touch and chooses to hang out. She chooses to keep company, and that's a big change. Everyone has responded so well to this, all five horses, I can't help but think it is a critical part of horsemanship. _________________ "It was once said I should clear my head for one cannot ride a Thoroughbred. Yes! That walk away thing, I have some of that here too. You might be right Deb......... could be a critical part of the whole deal. I have always found it hard to understand how they read our intent so well..... so much more sensitive then I ever imagined. As I age I am becoming more and more sensitive to noise and I elect to turn off TV, radio, etc. whenever I can. Maybe this is how they are normally; we are too much external stimulation for them and they need to turn us off or down. _________________ Nancy
