From the Mom:

I PROUDLY show you the 2012 Civitan Jr Miss Rodeo Queen (Andalusia ,AL.) She also rec'd the title of Miss Congeniality !!!!!!!!! Which I was VERY proud of. She rec'd a crown, sash and a really nice NFR bag.. and a Buckle (which will be presented to her during the rodeo in Feb).. she is thrilled. She and I went to thank judges and review her scores afterwards and they were very impressed w her. One saying that "there was just something about her".....Which touched my heart! They said she and her horse looked as if they were one...her horse missed ONE lead change and that was it..... NICE....for first Horsemanship competiton ever...I am one proud moma. I wanted to share with others that have a love for my baby girl ! The rubber bands....split reins...shine stuff...treats...brushes.... that were sent to her were used at the pagent. I didn't realize she even needed split reins for it and was sooooooo relieved to have that pair for her to use. She's never used split reins and loved them. They are very nice ones (very soft). Just wanted to pass along what an awesome weekend we had and that yall were all a part of it!

I have really enjoyed seeing what all's been done for this beautiful young lady! I hope we are able to help someone else.

From the mom and Destiny today:

Hi.. Hope this finds all of you well. Well, Destiny roped her first calf (EVER) in breakaway roping this weekend. She was ONE happy girl. She was running poles when all of a sudden the reins went completely over her horses head.. so they completed the pattern with NO reins.. and get this.. she ran a 26 sec pattern and they didn't hit one pole. LOL. It was scarey and very exciting once we knew she was fine. She came out laughing.. saying she was trick riding. Gotta love that spirit. She will be getting her Civitan Rodeo Queen buckle in Andalusia this weekend at the PCA rodeo. She's very excited for Friday night to get here.... so if any of you are there.. pls come see us. Just wanted you all to know that you all are still on our minds and FOREVER in our hearts!

Have a wonderful week. I am gonna try to send the video of one of her runs .,and or the pic of her roping

Well, I over looked the two photos attached and the video. But, I do not know how to get the video here? It goes to windows media player and I have never transferred one of those before? Suggestions?

Forgive the flash picking up her eyeshawdow tooooo much in the second pic. Ha.. but other than that .. I thought it was a great pic of our girl .
Then her at a friends bday party , just playing around...

Just thought I'd share .... She was sooo very proud of her buckle.

This is the latest from the Mom:

GOOD MORNING! I hope this finds you all well. Just an update on our girl

She has qualified for NBHA YOUTH WORLD, with 2SLOTS. I can't even tell you how excited she is. Or how proud I am. She has gotten a new horse since we last talked so not sure which ones she will take yet. As we have walked GODS's Plans, we have meet a extremely sweet friend (which is where she got her new horse) and she also has another FAST horse and if we can get Dessie to riding her FAST horse before world .. we are thinking we might just take that one. Either way just to say at 14 she has qualified for YOUTH WORLD is such an accomplishment and such a WONDERFUL life long memory for her.

Her equestrian drill team "Star Spangled Stampede" will be performing the first weekend of April at Little Boots Rodeo in Mtg., Al. She is really looking forward to this. She will also be competeing in the Queen Pagent.....wish us luck...

...... Not sure if any of you do this event., if so pls come and introduce yourself to us. Yall have truly impacted her (our) life,we'd love to meet you.

We have decided we need to invest in a horse trailer with a LQ or weekender pkg.. since I think we will be in this for a while. ha. So if anyone knows of or has a cheap but nice horse trailer , pls feel free to email me . WE are located in Alabama.
