I found this site quite by accident and a happy accident it is.

I've been looking at the parelli stuff for ages and now I am in a position to afford the dvd's.

I recently lost my riding partner of 20 years Sun's Anihilator at the time of his passing he was 26 and a Reg'd TWH, we did everything together. At one point a friend of mine said"you'll never have another horse that well behaved or bonded"  I considered that a challenge.  I had started training Jinx  = can't say replacement because no one will every replace him= so My New partner 4 yeas ago.  I have read a lot and do some real odd things with horses.  Jinx was 'sacked out" at 3 months old and I kept up odd things all along.  Jinx is 3/4 quarterhorse and 1/4 Percheron or belgium.
At Easter I bought a second horse Hannah who is Belgium Saddlebred cross.
They are best buds, as am I with Hannah's previous owner.
I look forward to playing the games with them both.

Sun was born in Kentucky, that horse was the best at lifting my spirits. These two are going to benefit from everything he taught me  which was mostly patience

Welcome!  I love this forum and the people on it, so I think you will find yourself in good company on it.  Carol is a great moderator and there are a lot of generous, knowledgeable people here.  So sorry for your loss.  It sounds like you have other equine friends to help you create exciting new partnerships.

What brought me to the board was a parelli search and it brought to light some of the concerns I was  having as I read their "membership" levels.  I was confused and googled information on the membership and poof here you were... I am glad to see others who have learned from the Parelli's here but sad to see the corporate Giant is stomping on villagers.

Thanks I hope to glean information from people here on the boards
